About our Daycare
Kahuterawa K9’s Daycare facility is purpose built to offer a safe, secure and stimulating environment for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Based in the countryside of Linton, Palmerston North, backing on to the Kahuterawa Stream, our facility has an expansive grassed outdoor area with safe obstacles to play on, a mulched area and large trees for shade. We also have a warm indoor space (with a fire-place coming!) and couches for your dog to relax inside.
Your dog will be picked up and delivered to and from your house in our tailored van. All dogs are fully supervised throughout the day.
Our Daycare facility is limited to 12 dogs per day.
Pricing:
Standard daycare rate is $55 per dog, per day which includes pick up and drop off.
Hours:
Monday, Wednesday and Thurday.
Pickup between 7.15am – 8.45am
Drop off between 3.00pm – 5.00pm

Grooming
Grooming bookings are currently closed
We use the Melanie Newman Salon Essentials Collection, which are premium canine grooming products with no SLS or parabens, no petro-chemicals and no synthetic perfumes. 100% pure and natural.
- Palmerston North area pick up & drop off service $20 each way
- All prices are starting prices and are subject to adjustment on assessment of your dog due to breed variations, size differentials and whether the dog has excess matting
- Additional charges may apply if your dog is particularly problematic/difficult to groom or has aggressive tendencies
- Kahuterawa K9s reserves the right to refuse to groom your dog if your dog is significantly aggressive that we cannot continue with respect to the safety of the dog and the groomer
